- Necessary studies in the field of evaluating research activities and evaluating the annual research performance of the university
- Contacting domestic and foreign institutions for cooperation in research affairs and exchanging scientific services Preparing and reviewing the university's research strategic document
- Managing the affairs of research units affiliated with the university
- Cooperation in providing services Scientific, cultural and social events and holding scientific seminars and conferences
- Cooperation in implementing short-term research courses for other non-university institutions
- Supervision of all university research affairs, libraries and databases and the university's industry relations office
- Planning for faculty members to use domestic and foreign study opportunities in accordance with approved criteria

- Presenting a financial performance report and estimating the annual budget for university research affairs for proposal to the board of directors
